The Game: ’40 Glocc fight was self-defence’

Rapper The Game has hit back in the legal battle surrounding his 2012 brawl with fellow hip-hop star 40 Glocc, insisting he acted in self-defence after a gun was drawn. Glocc, real name Tory Gassway, filed a lawsuit against The Game demanding a total of $4.5 million (£2.8 million) to cover medical expenses, compensation for pain and suffering and loss of earnings after a video of the fight was shared online.
In new legal documents, obtained by editors at TMZ.com, The Game insists he only hit out in self-defence once the other man drew a fire arm, and claims the lawsuit is an attempt by Gassway to garner more fame.
Gassway claims it was The Game who had a gun, though neither man is seen with a weapon in the footage of the fight.
