The Isley Brothers former member buys R.Kelly’s foreclosed mansion

Singer R. Kelly’s foreclosed Illinois mansion has been sold to former The Isley Brothers member Rudolph Isley. The I Believe I Can Fly hitmaker purchased the six bedroom, eight bathroom mansion in 1997, but lost the property to bank executives after allegedly failing to keep up on the mortgage payments.
The singer tried and failed to sell the home for $1.6 million (GBP1.1 million) in 2011 and financial bosses purchased it in March (13) for $950,000 (GBP630,300).
Isley bought the pad, which boasts an indoor pool, theatre room and a private lake, in October (13) for $587,500 (GBP390,600).
