Electro-pop duo THE TING TINGS have scrapped their upcoming U.S. tour to allow singer and guitarist KATIE WHITE to recover from a partially ruptured tendon in her left hand.
Gigs were scheduled to begin in Berwyn, Illinois on Thursday (18Jun15), but White has been ordered by doctors to rest until her hand heals.
Announcing the news, White says, “Really sorry to be cancelling our U.S. tour. My left hand has been playing me up for a while and unfortunately, it finally decided to throw a tendon tantrum.
“We tried to scale back the upcoming shows to avoid making it worse, but unfortunately, I have a torn tendon that the doctors have said only rest and physiotherapy will heal… back soon.”
