Theresa Saldana's acting career began when she was a mere 15 years old. Saldana's career in acting began with her roles in various films like the David Proval drama "Nunzio" (1975), the Robert Zemeckis comedy "I Wanna Hold Your Hand" (1978) and "Defiance" (1980). She also appeared in the biopic drama "Raging Bull" (1980) with Robert De Niro and "The Evil That Men Do" (1984). She continued to act in productions like the action movie "Double Revenge" (1988) with Leigh McCloskey, the Keanu Reeves drama "The Night Before" (1988) and "Angel Town" (1990). Her work around this time also included a part on the TV movie "The Highwayman" (NBC, 1987-88). She held additional roles in television including a part on "Storytime" (PBS, 1993-99). She also was featured in the TV movies "The Commish: In the Shadow of the Gallows" (1995-96), "The Commish: Father Image" (ABC, 1995-96) and "The Commish: Redemption" (ABC, 1995-96). She also appeared in "She Woke Up Pregnant" (ABC, 1995-96) and the sitcom "The Bernie Mac Show" (Fox, 2001-06). Saldana's final screen credit was a supporting role in the biopic "Illusion Infinity" (2004). Theresa Saldana died in Los Angeles on June 6, 2016, following a brief hospitalization She was 61.
