Charlize Theron‘s Hollywood success has prompted a baby-naming boom in her native South Africa, with hordes of new parents flocking to give their daughters her moniker.
The Oscar-winning actress, who grew up on a farm outside Benoni, has recently discovered a large number of South African baby girls now bare her name.
She says, “Somebody told me that now every one out of three baby girls born in South Africa is being named Charlize.”
