Thomas Dolby brought his musical talents to a variety of films over the course of his Hollywood career. Dolby began his entertainment career with his music featured in films like "Surf II" (1984), the drama "Fever Pitch" (1985) with Ryan O'Neal and the Goldie Hawn sports comedy "Wildcats" (1986). His music also appeared in "Gothic" (1987). In addition to his music, Dolby appeared in "Howard the Duck" (1986) with Lea Thompson. In the eighties and the nineties, Dolby devoted his time to various credits, such as "Jim Henson's Ghost of Faffner Hall" (HBO, 1989-1990), "Rockula" (1990) and "Ferngully: the Last Rainforest" (1992) starring Samantha Mathis. He also worked on "The Power of Dreams" and "We're Back! A Dinosaur's Story" with John Goodman (1993). Dolby's music was also featured in the Mira Sorvino dramatic adaptation "Romy and Michele's High School Reunion" (1997), the animated adventure "Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius" (2001) with Frank Welker and the Tom Cruise box office smash action flick "Mission: Impossible III" (2006). Most recently, Dolby appeared in "100 Greatest Artists of All Time" (VH1, 2010-11).
