TNT Apologizes For Tracy Morgan’s Palin Comment

tracy morganI’ve been to one basketball game in my entire life and I was so bored out of my mind that I used my pink Motorola V3 Razr phone’s internet connection to look up the speed of which the average snail travels when he feels threatened. But I wouldn’t have been bored if I was at the game where Tracy Morgan appeared on TNT’s Inside the NBA pregame show! That’s for damn sure! No, I wouldn’t have been bored at all because I would have been too busy making sure everyone who walked into the arena heard his response to Charles Barkley’s question of who was hotter: Tina Fey or Sarah Palin. (Morgan responded with, “Yo, let me tell you something about Sarah Palin. She’s good masturbation material.”) AND BOOM! OFFENSE OFFENSE OFFENSE!

So today, TNT is terribly embarrassed and has issued the following statement: “It’s unfortunate Mr. Morgan showed a lack of judgment on our air with his inappropriate comments. We apologize for any embarrassment or offense it may have caused.” But they shouldn’t because he’s Tracy Morgan, and it wasn’t a lack of judgment at all. In fact, it was the employment of judgment, which is more than we can say for TNT’s decision to air a show where a group of guys sit around talking about a basketball game that hasn’t even been played yet.
