Game Of Thrones star Tom Hopper has joined the cast of the small screen adaptation of former My Chemical Romance rocker Gerard Way’s graphic novel The Umbrella Academy.
He’ll join Ellen Page, Emmy Raver-Lampman, David Castaneda, Robert Sheehan, and Aidan Gallagher in the much-anticapted Netflix project about the oddball members of a dysfunctional superhero family, who join forces to solve their father’s death.
Hopper has been cast as Luther, the leader of The Umbrella Academy, while another cast newcomer, Castaneda, will take on the role of Diego, an intense vigilante, who resents his brother’s role as leader of the family group.
Juno star Page was perviously cast as Vanya, the only member of the family who has no super powers.
