Biography

Tom Mahoney found success as an actor early on, when he was just seven years old. Mahoney began his acting career in film, appearing in such titles as "The Love Trader" (1930) and the crime flick "The Sister-in-Law" (1975) with John Savage. Mahoney worked in television around the start of his acting career with a role on "Alice" (1976-1985). He also starred in the TV movies "Maneaters Are Loose!" (1977-78), "Fun and Games" (1979-1980) and "Skag" (1979-1980). He also had roles in film during these years, including roles in "Coach" (1978). Mahoney continued to exercise his talent in the eighties and the nineties, taking on a mix of projects like "Cannery Row" with Nick Nolte (1982), "Night Shift" (1982) starring Henry Winkler, "Disney's Christmas Fantasy on Ice" (CBS, 1992-93) and "Inside America's Totally Unsolved Lifestyles" (ABC, 1992-93). Mahoney last worked on "Olympic Winter Games XVIII" (1997-98).
