Biography

Tony Rosato was an actor with a strong presence in film throughout his Hollywood career. In his early acting career, Rosato appeared in such films as the comedy "Improper Channels" (1979) with Alan Arkin, "Hog Wild" (1980) with Patti D'Arbanville and the Robert Hays comedy "Utilities" (1981). He also appeared in the David Naughton comedy "Separate Vacations" (1986) and "Busted Up" (1987) with Paul Coufos. He kept working in film throughout the eighties, starring in the Paul Coufos action picture "City of Shadows" (1988), the comedy adaptation "Switching Channels" (1988) with Kathleen Turner and the Daniel Stern adventure "Friends, Lovers & Lunatics" (1989). He also was featured in the TV movies "Kissinger and Nixon" (1995-96), "The Haunting of Lisa" (Lifetime, 1995-96) and "The Conspiracy of Fear" (HBO, 1996-97). Most recently, Rosato appeared in "Mafia Doctor" (CBS, 2002-03).
