Tragic Spider-Man actress remembers dog in her suicide note

The former model, 28, left details of how she wanted her fortune shared out in a suicide note, the details of which have been revealed for the first time.

The handwritten note has detailed how the former model wanted her estate of almost $130,000 (£81,250) divided up.

Gordon, who played a reporter in the third Spider-Man sequel, asked friends to set up a trust fund for her pet with the money set aside for the pooch.

The actress took her own life after a late-night argument with her French boyfriend Jerome Almeras, who discovered her hanging in the apartment they shared the following morning.

Almeras was cleared of any involvement in his late girlfriend’s death.

In the note she left for Almeras to find, Gordon wrote she was “of sound mind and body” and requested that a flat she owned in New York be sold with her lover splitting the proceeds with friends.

The former face of cosmetics firm Cover Girl asked for pals to set up a trust fund for Meelon “to take care of her financially to the end of her days”.

She won acclaim just before her death with her portrayal of Jane Birkin in Serge Gainsbourg biopic Vie Heroique after trailers for the movie were shown at the Cannes Film Festival in the days leading up to her passing.
