Vince Camuto funeral service to take place on Tuesday

A private funeral service for legendary shoe designer Vince Camuto is set to take place in Connecticut on Tuesday (27Jan15) following his death last week (ends23Jan15). The 78 year old passed away at his property in Greenwich on Wednesday (21Jan15) after a battle with cancer and now friends and family have been invited to bid farewell to Camuto at a memorial in his hometown.
Jessica Simpson is expected to be among the mourners at the ceremony after working closely with the Nine West co-founder on her namesake fashion brand.
She paid tribute to her late friend with a sweet post on Instagram.com on Thursday (22Jan15), writing, “Thank you, Vince, for the humble power that has taken me everywhere. You are my mentor, my family, the creator of all my dreams. I will forever walk in your shoes…you made them. #brokenheart”.
