Virginia Patton worked in a variety of genres and built up a diverse and reputable career. Patton's career started with debut roles in the Joyce Reynolds comedic adaptation "Janie" (1944) and the dramatic adaptation "It's a Wonderful Life" (1946) with James Stewart. Patton had a diverse career throughout the forties and the early 2000s, including "The Lucky Stiff" (1949) starring Dorothy Lamour, "Mighty Aphrodite" with F. Murray Abraham (1995) and "Keeping the Faith" (2000). More recently, Patton worked on "The Anniversary Party" (2001) with Alan Cumming.
