Voight Open-Minded Over Pitt/Jolie/Aniston ‘Triangle’

Hollywood star Jon Voight refuses to judge his estranged daughter Angelina Jolie over her relationship with Brad Pitt, despite acknowledging the hunk’s ex-wife Jennifer Aniston must be “hurt.”

Although the Mr. and Mrs. Smith co-stars deny they became romantically involved while Pitt was still married to Aniston, gossips have long speculated the pair’s relationship began before Pitt and Aniston‘s January split.

While Voight approves of his daughter’s choice of boyfriend, he is unsure of the circumstances that led to their relationship and refuses to see Jolie as ‘the other woman’.

Voight says, “A lot has been said about them and you never know what’s real and what isn’t.

“On the subject of Brad, I really have a nice feeling about him. I’m impressed by his movies and by his persona, and, although you feel the other person’s (Aniston) hurt, you never know the whole story.

“If Brad and Angie are going to make a life together and care for each other deeply and are happy together, then I certainly wish them the best.”

In an interview with Vanity Fair magazine earlier this year, Aniston admitted she was hurt to see photos of Pitt  playing father to Jolie ‘s young son Maddox on an African beach, saying, “I was shocked. I’d be a robot if I said I didn’t feel moments of anger, of hurt, of embarrassment.”
