Warren Vanders was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Vanders's acting career began mostly with his roles in various films, such as "Rough Night in Jericho" (1967) with Dean Martin, "Stay Away, Joe" (1968) and the Jim Brown thriller "The Split" (1968). He also appeared in the William Holden western "The Revengers" (1972). He also appeared in the TV movie "Cutter's Trail" (CBS, 1969-1970). He had an early role on the television special "Doc Elliot" (ABC, 1972-73). Vanders worked in television around the start of his acting career with a role on "Daniel Boone" (NBC, 1964-1970). He also appeared in the western sequel "Rooster Cogburn" (1975) with John Wayne. during these yearsHe also starred in the TV movies "Twice in a Lifetime" (1973-74), "Nevada Smith" (NBC, 1974-75) and "The Tribe" (ABC, 1974-75). He also appeared in "In the Glitter Palace" (NBC, 1976-77) and "Mayday at 40,000 Feet!" (CBS, 1976-77). He held additional roles in television including a part on "Arli$" (HBO, 1996-2003). Vanders also held acting roles in films like the comedy "Hot Lead and Cold Feet" (1978) with Jim Dale and "The Bermuda Triangle" (1978).
