Watch Beyonce Slay In Her Moody Video For “Sorry”

“Ashes to ashes, dust to side chicks” – Beyonce, 2016.

All hail queen Bey who finally, finally released a music video from her visual LP Lemonade on Vevo. If you don’t have HBO, you’ve been sort of out of luck (unless you managed to cop an illegal stream of the album elsewhere).

The video, directed by Dikayl Rimmasch, is shot in moody black and white and features the singer and Serena Williams dancing on a subway and in a mansion. “Sorry” is one of Bey’s most powerful songs and features the viral line “You better call Becky with the good hair” (have we decided on who Becky is yet?).

Williams spoke about teaming up with Bey and how much she loves the song.

“She told me that she just wants me to dance, like just be really free and just dance like nobody’s looking and go all out. So that wasn’t easy in the beginning, but then it got easier. … I thought that particular song on the visual album was really a strong song, and it was also really fun at the same time,” she said.

Beyonce released the groundbreaking Lemonade through a one hour HBO special, and the album quickly rose to number one on the Billboard 200, marking Bey’s sixth number one release.
