Watch Kirsten Dunst Do Nothing in R.E.M.’s Music Video

Kirsten Dunst kinda fell off the Hollywood map for a while and now that she’s back, she’s really getting some serious face time in front of the cameras. First she was selected for the lead role in Lars von Trier’s Melancholia, and now the actress nabbed a cameo in R.E.M.’s final music video for their song, We All Go Back to Where We Belong. It’s a really good music video if you like the idea of having a staring contest with Kirsten Dunst for three and a half minutes. But if that doesn’t sound appealing to you, then I suggest you get out now while you still can. Seriously, the video just consists of Kirsten looking around, staring off into space, and occasionally adjusting her hair (I know, crazy stuff). The song itself is delightful, but I’m not really grasping why Kirsten is in the video and what it is that she’s actually doing. And if you thought the video couldn’t get any blander, it’s also in black and white, so you can’t even distract yourself with pretty colors. But if you don’t believe me, check out the video below. Just remember, you have been warned.
