Zaide Silvia Gutiérrez
Zaide Silvia Gutiérrez was an actress who made a successful career for herself in film. Early on in her acting career, Gutiérrez landed roles in various films, including the Ernesto Gomez Cruz drama "El Norte" (1984), the Ernesto Gomez Cruz dramatic adaptation "El Imperio de la Fortuna" (1986) and "Firewalker" (1986). She also appeared in "Miracles" (1986) with Tom Conti and the drama "City of the Blind" (1991) with Gabriela Roel. She continued to work steadily in film throughout the nineties and the early 2000s, appearing in the crime drama "Highway Patrolman" (1993) with Roberto Sosa, the mystery "All of Them Witches" (1996) with Susana Zabaleta and "Death and the Compass" (1997) with Peter Boyle. Her work around this time also included a part on the TV movie "In the Time of the Butterflies" (2001-02). She also worked in television during these years, including a part on "American Family" (2001-04). More recently, she tackled roles in the Maya Zapata crime drama "Bordertown" (2007), "Cabeza de Buda" and "Charm School." She also appeared in "Ciudades oscuras." Gutiérrez also acted in "Entre Pancho Villa y una Mujer Desnuda."
