The first reports of a new relationship for the longtime single star were kickstarted when she was spotted enjoying an intimate dinner with The Hangover star in New York.
And internet gossips were sent into a spin when they were later photographed on a trip to Spain together, with one saucy shot showing Cooper affectionately resting a hand on Zellweger’s behind.
Now, the Bridget Jones actress has dropped another hint about her romantic status during an appearance on U.S. TV show Good Morning America on Tuesday (18Aug09).
The 40 year old told the hosts that she has spent the summer months repairing her personal life – replacing her work commitments with social activities.
She says, “I’ve absolutely been living my life for myself this summer. I started to take a look around at my personal life and fill it up a bit with things that didn’t have anything to do with being an actor and having a public persona.
Cooper has previously been linked to his He’s Just Not That Into You co-star Jennifer Aniston, while Zellweger has previously been romanced by Jim Carrey and rocker Jack White, and was married briefly to country singer Kenny Chesney.
