Barbara Taylor Bradford’s producer husband dead at 94

Author Barbara Taylor Bradford’s film producer husband has died.
Robert Bradford, 94, passed away on Tuesday (02Jul19) in New York. His wife of 55 years was by his side.
The German-born film mogul was smuggled out of Nazi Germany at the age of eight and grew up in the South of France before moving to New York, and then to Hollywood.
He met his wife on a blind date in London in 1961 and the couple married two years later.
They set up home in New York City.
Taylor Bradford dedicated each of her novels to her husband, who handled all her business interests and helped adapt nine of his wife’s books as mini-series and TV movies.
He was planning a remake of the 1984 TV mini-series A Woman of Substance – based on his wife’s bestseller – at the time of his death.
