Chris Hughes confirms Jesy Nelson romance

British reality TV star Chris Hughes has confirmed that Little Mix’s Jesy Nelson is his “girlfriend”.
The British singer was first linked to the former Love Island contestant in January (19) after they were spotted making cocktails together at a London bar, and rumours of a relationship continued to swirl as they were pictured kissing in a fast food outlet and then at an airport following a trip to Dublin, Ireland.
The rumoured couple stepped things up a notch when they posted pictures of them locking lips on Instagram over the weekend, and now Chris has confirmed they are officially boyfriend and girlfriend.
During a radio interview on Britain’s Kiss Breakfast Show on Thursday (07Mar19), Chris said, “I’m the happiest I’ve ever been. It’s official, she’s my girlfriend. I’m so happy, she’s the nicest girl I’ve ever met, this is no exaggeration.”
“She’s got a heart like she was your mother or something. She’s so caring…” he began, as his Love Island co-star and pal Kem Cetinay interrupted and said, “Not the right comparison there.”
“No, but you know what I’m saying… We just get on like best mates, and that’s the beauty about it,” the 26-year-old added.
Kem had been grilled about Chris’ romance with Jesy when he appeared on British morning show Lorraine earlier this week and he told the host, “He seems really happy. I’ve never met her before, he says really nice things about her. He seems really happy and that’s all that matters. As long as she doesn’t take him away from me too much.”
Over the weekend, Jesy and Chris posted photos of them dressed in orange jumpsuits in a prison cell. In Chris’ caption, he wrote, “The only inmate I’ve ever needed.”
