Cindy Lee Garcia launches second attempt to block Innocence of Muslims film

Garcia launched legal action against the producer of the anti-Islam film and YouTube.com bosses last month (Sep12) after a 14-minute clip posted on the video-sharing website sparked a series of violent anti-America protests in the Middle East.

The actress claimed she had been duped into appearing in the film and, after having her pleas to YouTube officials to take the video down ignored, she filed for an injunction.

Her request was recently rejected by a Los Angeles judge, but Garcia is refusing to give up her battle, and she has now accused filmmakers of failing to obtain her permission as an actress to release the movie.

In court documents, Garcia alleges she “never signed a release of any kind to her rights to her dramatic performance”.
