Curtis Lee dies

Singer Curtis Lee has died, aged 75. Lee passed away on Thursday (08Jan15) in his hometown of Yuma, Arizona after a long battle with cancer.
He began his recording career in 1959 and scored his biggest hit with Pretty Little Angel Eyes, which was produced by music mogul Phil Spector in 1961.
Lee went on to release a string of songs, including another Spector-produced hit, Under the Moon of Love, but retired from the music industry in 1969 to go into construction with his father.
His funeral will be held on 17 January (15) in Yuma at Champion Church, which Lee helped to design and build.
