Dara Tomanovich offered plea deal in DWI case

Canadian model/actress Dara Tomanovich has been offered the chance to put an end to her DWI case by accepting a plea deal to suspend her driver’s licence for one year and complete a community service sentence. The 45 year old, best known for her role in 1996 comedy Bio-Dome, was slapped with the driving while impaired charge in New York in July (14) after crashing her Porsche sports car and subsequently failing two Breathalyzer tests at the scene of the accident.
She appeared in Manhattan Criminal Court on Thursday (18Sep14), when the judge overseeing her case agreed to let the beauty off if she accepted a driving ban, three days of community service and a $750 (£469) fine, according to the New York Post.
Tomanovich, who was recently romantically linked to Britain’s Prince Andrew, has yet to reveal if she will take the plea. She is due back in court on 15 October (14).
