James Arthur accuses Zayn Malik and Justin Bieber of copying his music

James Arthur has accused Zayn Malik and Justin Bieber of copying his music.
The 29-year-old, who won the ninth series of the U.K.’s X Factor in 2012, blasted his fellow artists in a new interview with The Sun on Sunday newspaper.
James revealed he was working on a new urban sound for his third album, and was quick to point out that he thinks Malik and Bieber have been copying the style of his new music.
“I think Justin Bieber and Zayn have both been listening to me a lot and they basically wanna (sic) be me,” he said.
James also said he had evidence of the Pillowtalk hitmaker trying to emulate him: “I asked Louis Tomlinson whether he’s been listening to me and he said, ‘Yeah, he’s been lurking’,” he claimed.
The Impossible hitmaker also blasted Ed Sheeran, claiming the award-winning singer was a fake.
“I’m not saying none of these guys are talented, but people think Ed Sheeran crawled off a couch and lived on the street or something but him, Ellie Goulding… they all come from Suffolk, Surrey, Richmond… they come from support (rich parents),” he ranted.
“I think Sam Smith’s dad got a huge loan or something to help his career,” James continued. “Those things can help artists get attention.”
After winning The X Factor, James was dropped by Simon Cowell’s SyCo label in 2014 after using homophobic lyrics in a song. Following a brief disappearance from the music scene to work on his second album, he released Back from the Edge in 2016, which featured the huge hit Say You Won’t Let Go, and was subsequently re-signed by SyCo.
