Jen Atkin documents home burglary on social media

Celebrity hairstylist Jen Atkin shocked fans by documenting her home being robbed on social media.
Atkin, who counts Khloe Kardashian and Chrissy Teigen as her clients and best friends, shared footage of two hooded intruders going through her belongings at her Los Angeles property on Friday (27Oct17).
“So whoever is in my closet right now stealing all my jewelry (sic), we have you on camera and the police are on their way,” she wrote alongside a surveillance video of the two suspects inside her bedroom closet on Snapchat.
“Update: police are on it and I can’t say too much. But get cameras in your house guys they’re so helpful,” she continued in a separate snap.
The hairstylist, who was working on a photo shoot at a beach near her home at the time, also shared the dramatic burglary on Instagram. “Was staring at this gorgeous view today while our house was being robbed,” she captioned a shot of the beach.
“It felt super violating but we know in our hearts that there are good people out in this sometimes dark world. yes we will have to adjust how we live a bit BUT i’m grateful for all the good people in our life. just thinking of it as a good deed and hopefully the material things we loved will help whoever needed to steal it,” Atkin added.
“We are OK. Feels violating but we are healthy happy and blessed,” she later added on Snapchat as she drove home with her husband, celebrity photographer Mike Rosenthal. “Weirdly thinking the people who robbed us needed it more than we do.”
The hairstylist shared additional footage from the robbery, and commented that the suspects took her Yeezys, a popular sports shoe designed by Kanye West, and also went through the “drawer that I keep all my Kylie Lip Kits (Jenner’s successful make-up line) in and my KKW Beauty (Kim Kardashian west’s new contour range) – what’s happening here?”
In a statement to People.com, Atkin’s rep said she is currently declining to comment on the robbery. “We would appreciate privacy on this matter,” they added.
