After making Patty Jenkins the first female to direct a comic book superhero movie by handing her the Wonder Woman franchise, bosses at Marvel have now made small screen history as fans anticipate the return of Krysten Ritter as Jessica Jones.
Executive Producer Melissa Rosenberg reveals she and her associates made a conscious decision to hire the best women directors for the second season of the action drama, and then took it a stage further and decided the entire run should be man-free, according to Variety.
