Kenzie hospitalised after post-appearance car smash

British pop star Kenzie was hospitalised over the weekend (03-04May14) after he was involved in a serious car crash. The former Blazing Squad star was injured in the accident in the early hours of Sunday (04May14) as he made his way home from a club appearance in Essex, London.
He has cancelled upcoming shows with his new band, 5th Story, which includes Dane Bowers, Kavana, Gareth Gates, and Adam Rickett and was put together for U.K. TV show The Big Reunion.
A post on his Twitter.com account reads, “Kenzie was involved in a serious car accident… he’s recovering in hospital but will miss up & coming gigs.”
His manager Paul DH Baylay adds, “Confirming that kenzofficial was involved in a car accident & is recovering in hospital at this time. More to follow.”
