Kim Porter laid to rest

Kim Porter has been laid to rest.
Family and friends of the model, including her ex-boyfriend and the father of her children, Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs, paid their respects at the elaborate funeral held at the Columbus’ Cascade Hills Church in Georgia on Saturday (24Nov18).
The rap mogul, 49, was spotted arriving at the funeral with his mother Janice Combs, in a black tuxedo and sunglasses, and clutching a pink program, which read “KP” on the front.
Other guests included Kimora Lee Simmons – who was seen wearing a white suit and large white hat – actress Tichina Arnold, NeNe Leakes and Faith Evans.
Diddy reportedly arranged for Kim’s gold casket to arrive at the service in a horse-drawn carriage, and the rapper also delivered an emotional eulogy. Kim’s son Quincy Brown, 27, who she shares with record producer Al B. Sure!, also spoke at the funeral and broke down while speaking.
Mary J. Blige, Yolanda Adams and Faith Evans performed musical tributes, according to E! News.
Guests exited the service to Marvin Gaye’s track, What’s Going On, and a fireworks display was set off as the graveside service ended at Evergreen Memorial Park, according to E! News.
Diddy was later spotted looking distraught at the graveside of his ex-girlfriend, who was buried next to her mother.
Shortly before Kim’s funeral began on Saturday, the rap mogul honoured her with an heartbreaking tribute on social media.
“Today we lay to rest our ANGEL,” he wrote on Twitter alongside an image of the model. “Her spirit lives on with us FOREVER!!! We thank you all for your prayers and support. You have no idea how much it means to us. We thank GOD for all of you.”
He also shared a video of Kim, and praised her as “the truest definition of a MOTHER!”
Kim, 47, was found dead at her Los Angeles home on 15 November. Reports suggest the model had suffered a cardiac arrest while battling a short illness.
Diddy and Kim dated on and off for 13 years from 1994 to 2007 and remained close even after their split. In addition to their 11-year-old girls, they also had 20-year-old son Christian.
