Luciano Luna is a big winner at 2015 SESAC Latina Music Awards

Mexican hitmaker LUCIANO LUNA was the toast of the SESAC Latina Music Awards on Wednesday (17Jun15) after picking up nine prizes, including the coveted Songwriter of the Year honour for a second consecutive year.
Luna also claimed Song of the Year for penning Julion Alvarez y su Norteno Band’s Te hubieras ido Antes, while Luis Coronel’s Tenerte, Calibre 50’s Tus Latidos and Noel Torres’ Para que tantos besos tracks also won him praise.
Colombian pop star Fonseca picked up the Society of European Stage Authors and Composers (SESAC)’s first ever Contemporary Icon Award, and reggaeton star Nicky Jam scored two accolades, including the #1 Award for the success of his song El Perdon.
Other winners at the performing arts organisation’s annual celebration in Los Angeles included J Balvin and Banda La Trakalosa De Monterrey, who were both celebrated among the most-viewed Latin tracks on YouTube.com.
The SESAC Latina Music Awards honour the most-played songwriters and publishers on America’s Billboard’s Latin charts.
