Turtles frontman Mark Volman has been declared cancer-free.
The rocker went public with his throat cancer diagnosis in September (15) and revealed he was undergoing chemotherapy and radiation treatment.
However, on Saturday (27Feb16), the 68-year-old’s bandmate, Howard Kaylan, informed fans Volman has beaten the disease.
“Thanks for all of your positive thoughts,” he wrote on social media. “Here to tell the world, Mark (Flo) Volman is Cancer Free!! #turtlesRback”.
Volman has yet to comment on the news himself.
