Michael Hoffman Adds Dakota Fanning To ‘Girls’ Night Out’

Dakota FanningDakota Fanning has set her next movie: Girls’ Night Out, a romantic fairytale that will no doubt make everyone love her even more.

The film, to be directed by Michael Hoffman, was penned by Trevor De Silva. Set against the backdrop of V.E. Day in 1945, Fanning plays a teenage Princess Margaret, the Queen’s sister, who spends the evening in Buckingham Palace with sister Elizabeth (who’s yet-to-be-cast), creating their own adventures. And since Girls’ Night Out is being billed as a fairytale, it’s safe to assume that something magical happens, like maybe all the statues in the palace come to life and start fighting each other, but then Ben Stiller comes in with his flashlight and saves the day; because it’s now being discovered, as I write this, that Girls’ Night Out appears to be just a way for movie studios to trick audiences into seeing Night at the Museum 3: UK Style!, which will definitely make the folks at this site very, very happy, but the rest of us want to kill ourselves. Thanks, Hollywood.
