OK Go film zero gravity music video

Quirky indie rockers OK Go have defied gravity in their new video for Upside Down & Inside Out by filming the promo in an airplane.
The Here It Goes Again stars shot the video while flying at zero gravity over Russia, according to RollingStone.com.
Singer Damian Kulash, Jr. directed the clip and the band was required to undergo a three-week training course at The Roscosmos State Corporation for Space Activities before they were allowed to go up.
“It was nearly a decade ago that the world started buzzing about commercial space travel and exploration,” a statement from Kulash, Jr. reads. “When I heard about Virgin Galactic and Space X, it dawned on me that soon enough, people will be making art in space.
“So for years, we’ve been looking for the opportunity to make a weightless video. I mean, what could be more thrilling than astronaut training? I met with people from S7 at a media event at the Cannes Lions festival in France and that’s where the adventure began.”
And the band wants fans to know that the video is all real – a disclaimer at the beginning reads: “We shot this in zero gravity, in an actual plane, in the sky. There are no wires or green screen.”
The band first hit the headlines years ago with their video for Here It Goes Again, in which the four bandmates performed synchronised routines on a series of fitness treadmills.
