Ralph Stanley bowing out of touring with 80-date tour

Country music legend Ralph Stanley is to bow out of touring with a 14-month-long final trek, beginning in October (13). The 86-year-old Country Music Hall of Fame member will play his final show in December, 2014.
The Man of Constant Sorrow Tour: The Dr.’s Farewell will kick off in North Carolina on 18 October and include over 80 shows.
Stanley has been performing for 67 years – he started out as one half of the Stanley Brothers with his older sibling Carter, and went solo after his brother died in 1966.
