Scott Miller dead at 53

Rocker Scott Miller has died at the age of 53. He passed away on Monday (15Apr13), according to a post on his official website written by pal Sue Trowbridge, who gave no further details of his death.
Announcing the sad news, she writes, “Scott passed away on April 15, 2013. He was a wonderful, loyal friend as well as a brilliant musician, and I will miss him for the rest of my life.”
Miller was the frontman of 1980s rock band Game Theory, who found commercial success with their seventh album Lolita Nation in 1987.
The group disbanded two years later (89) and Miller went on to front The Loud Family, releasing six LPs, an EP, and a live album between 1993 and 2006.
In 2010, Miller published Music: What Happened?, a book based on the series he penned for the Loud Family website, in which he wrote about each of the past 53 years in popular music (1957-2009) via countdown song lists.
Trowbridge revealed that Miller had been planning to go back into the studio with his Game Theory bandmates for a new record, entitled Supercalifragile, this summer (13).
