Sex Pistols inspire new Converse footwear line

Punk legends the Sex Pistols are set for a comeback – in top footwear stores.
The 1970s band, fronted by Johnny Rotten, is the inspiration for a new line of Converse Chuck Taylor All Star sports shoes and apparel.
The collection features “colours, materials and graphics inspired by the band’s iconic style and album art”, and each style will include the iconic Sex Pistols logo on the tongue of the sneaker as well as in the foot bed.
A spokesman for Converse tells WENN, “The collection combines elevated fabrics and graphic executions that also represent the spirit of the Sex Pistols.”
The Spring 2016 Converse Chuck Taylor All Star Sex Pistols Collection is already available for purchase at speciality retailers, Converse stores and Converse.com.
