Tacoma Dome bosses and police insist Iron Maiden star has fan fight story all wrong

Tacoma Dome bosses are defending the actions of security guards after Iron Maiden frontman Bruce Dickinson called them “criminals” during a fight at a show on Thursday night (05Sep19).
The heavy rocker has called on fans to upload any cellphone footage of the altercation between bouncers and an audience member to help police identify the guards who he claims acted like thugs at the band’s Washington concert, telling fans at the show, “This is not the f**king mixed martial arts. In mixed martial arts you have a referee, you know? This is not that.”
But local lawmakers and venue bosses insist there’s more to the story.
Tacoma Dome marketing director Tammi Bryant has released a statement making it clear that staff had received multiple complaints about “an overly aggressive individual” and when they approached him he “physically attacked a security professional”.
“Safety is the number one priority at the Tacoma Dome with a focus on a positive experience for all,” Bryant added, revealing the unnamed, intoxicated fan was arrested and charged with assault.
Tacoma Police Department officials have supported her story.
