Victoria Williams launches fundraising campaign for medical expenses

Singer/songwriter Victoria Williams has launched a fundraising campaign to pay for her medical expenses after suffering a seizure and injuring her back and fracturing her shoulder last month (Dec15).
Williams is expected to make a full recovery, but her medical insurance will not cover her doctor’s bill and she is now asking fans to donate to her Sweet Relief Musician’s Fund.
The musician was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in 1993. At the time, her famous friends including members of Pearl Jam, Lou Reed and Lucinda Williams made the benefit project CD Sweet Relief: A Benefit for Victoria Williams, which turned into the Sweet Relief Musician’s Fund, according to Billboard.com.
