Five years later, Monaghan graduated to the big time as a cheerfully mischievous hobbit in The Lord of the Rings trilogy. With glistening blue eyes and a mop of unruly blonde hair, he shot to stardom as a sensitive junkie rock star on Lost, where he won the hearts of viewers and his stunning costar Evangeline Lilly.
