While this comely actress was only 17 when The O.C. turned her into a sex symbol, Mischa Barton was already a veteran of the entertainment industry. The London-born, New York-bred beauty made her professional acting debut at 9 in Tony Kushner's off-Broadway show Slavs! and subsequently appeared in a smattering of movies both big (The Sixth Sense) and small (Lawn Dogs). Since hitting the big time, the sassy star has become a staple of tabloid magazines, with her penchant for expensive designer clothes, multiple endorsement deals and publicized romances with the rich and gorgeous, including oil heir Brandon Davis and rocker Cisco Adler.
