William Carter had a brief acting career during the 1940s. Born Arthur William Carter Jr. in England, he moved to Hollywood following service in the British army during WWII. His few film credits included My Kingdom for a Cook (1943), Dragonwych, and I've Always Loved You (both 1946). After that, Carter abandoned his acting career and went into real estate.
