The youngest primetime program host in the history of Australian TV, Cameron Daddo has cracked the US market in the 1990s, first as Brian Petersen, the photographer who could not keep his pants zipped, in "Models, Inc." (Fox, 1994-95) and later as special effects expert Rollie Tyler in the syndicated "FX: The Series" (1996-98).

Daddo broke into show business in his late teens, appearing as Huck Finn in the Australian production of the Tony-winning musical "Big River". As a member of the cast of the kids series "Off the Dish", he immediately became a popular small screen personality and soon was hosting "The Cameron Daddo Cartoon Show" and eventually the game show "Perfect Match". Branching out into dramatic fare, Daddo won praise for his work in a number of TV-movies and miniseries like "Golden Fiddles" (1990) and had the lead in the detective series "Bony". Simultaneously, he launched a career as a singer, mostly of Australian country-western, releasing a debut album "A Long Goodbye" in the early 90s.

Daddo was first seen by US audiences playing one of a group of soldiers that launch a raid on a Japanese fishing fleet in the "The Heroes", a 1988 Australian production that aired in the USA in 1990 on PBS. He was a biker competing against the first African American pro biker in "Tracks of Glory: The Major Taylor Story" (1991) which aired over The Disney Channel in 1992. Moving to the States, Daddo won a won in the ABC TV-movie "Between Love and Hate" (1993) before landing his regular series work.
