Donald Driver was primarily a playwright and stage actor, but he did write and direct one film, a humorous, racy psuedo-documentary adaptation of Desmond Morris' best-selling chronicle of the history of the human race, The Naked Ape in 1973. The film was panned by critics and has since become regarded as an oddity.
