American character actress Gertrude Flynn started out playing innocent young girls on Broadway during the 1930s. She made her film debut in 1954 with Barefoot Contessa and continued appearing periodically in films through the mid-1960s. Flynn made her final film appearance in 1984 in Bad Manners.
