BIOGRAPHY
Allen Fong was one of Hong Kong's premiere directors during the '80s and '90s. Born Fong Yu-Ping, he started out working in television then became part of the Feng Huang Motion Picture Company. Fong made his directorial debut in 1981 with the highly autobiographical Father and Son. Also an actor, Fong has appeared in such films as Life is Cheap, But Toilet Paper is Expensive....
