Actor Mark Frechette appeared in one fine film, Zabriskie Point (1970), the American debut of noted Italian director Michaelangelo Antonioni. In 1973, Frechette was sentenced to prison for armed robbery. Two years later he died there after an accident involving weight-lifting equipment.
