Veteran French supporting actressDenise Grey entertained audiences for 75 years. She started out as a Can Can dancer at the Folies Bergère and by the end of WWI had become a popular stage performer. During WWII, she was with the esteemed Comédie Française. Grey began her film career in 1946 and continued making sporadic film appearances through 1992's Fine Romance. On-stage, she made a splash in the French version of Harold and Maude. She also became known for playing a sympathetic country grandmother in a series of family comedies during the 1980s.
