With her jaw-dropping good looks and innate sexiness, this statuesque Canadian supermodel was the perfect choice to play an otherworldly Cylon goddess on the critically acclaimed remake of Battlestar Galactica. After being crowned the 1992 Ford Supermodel of the World, Helfer graced the covers of many magazines and cut a striking figure as a Victoria's Secret beauty. A stint as a correspondent on the Canadian style series Ooh La La sparked her interest in acting, and in the '00s, she racked up a handful of credits a dead model on CSI, Farrah Fawcett in the low-rent TV-movie Behind the Camera: The Unauthorized Story of Charlie's Angels that didn't require her to stretch. But her turn as Battlestar's seductive villainess turned her into an instant fanboy favorite. In 2006, concurrent with her work on the hit series, she also became the host of the reality series Canada's Next Top Model.
