By the time American actor Eddie Parkes was eight, he was a professional vaudevillian and through childhood appeared with a number of major stars including Jimmy Durante. Parkes debuted in his first silent film at age ten, appearing opposite comedian John Bunny. Parkes continued appearing in films through 1980.
