Though his stunts broke numerous world records for daredevilry, Robinson was noted for carefully planning each stunt with uncanny mathematical precision. Still, even the best-laid plans can go awry, and Robinson died on the set of Million Dollar Mystery. Following his death, the Discovery Channel made a documentary biography of Robinson's life and contributions to modern stuntwork in The Ultimate Stuntman -- A Tribute to Dar Robinson.
